Hi – I’m Theodora! I am currently in the final weeks of my Neuroscience BSc degree at the University of Sussex. In pursuing this degree, I discovered an enthusiasm for bioinformatics, data analysis and the useful application of the findings. As my passions are in health and helping people, I saw what a valuable tool data can be for understanding, diagnosing and treating disease. This has driven me to improve and expand my data and programming skills.
I am truly excited to have the opportunity to learn from and work with an amazing research group this summer. This internship directly feeds into my interests and the career path I am pursuing; research that contributes to improving health and healthcare but also finds ways to apply the research into actionable programs, products and services for the public.
